Tip Calculation Formula

Basic Tip Formula:

Tip Amount = Bill × (Tip % ÷ 100)

Split Bill Formula:

Amount Per Person = (Bill + Tip) ÷ Number of People

Example: Bill = 50, Tip = 18%, People = 2
Tip = 50 × 0.18 = 9
Per Person = (50 + 9) ÷ 2 = 29.50
